About this photo:This is a harvestman rather than a true spider. You can tell that easily because the body is one piece, rather than the two, cephalothorax and abdomen, of a true spider. However, we've decided not to be too doctrinaire about the creatures we include in this category. Linda spotted this spider on a closed blossom (squash?) in the community garden we visited in Seattle.  |
